Assisted Living Driver / Resident Transportation Aide (Monday-Friday)
The Meadows at East Mountain is seeking a dependable and compassionate Driver to provide safe transportation and supportive assistance to our residents. In addition to transporting residents to scheduled appointments, this role is responsible for running errands in support of community operations, including activities, supplies, and administrative needs. This position is ideal for someone with experience working with seniors and a background as a caregiver or aide.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport residents to scheduled medical appointments and other approved destinations
- Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle, including mobility assistance as needed
- Provide patient, courteous, and respectful interaction with residents at all times
- Run errands to support community operations, including activities, supply pickups, and administrative needs
- Transport items and materials for staff and administration as requested
- Maintain cleanliness and overall safety of the vehicle
- Conduct routine vehicle safety checks and report maintenance needs
- Communicate transportation schedules, delays, or concerns with staff and residents
- Escort residents and provide light assistance as appropriate (wheelchairs, walkers, etc.)
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and community policies
Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with elderly individuals required
- Caregiver, aide, or assisted living experience strongly preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to assist residents with mobility needs
- Compassionate, reliable, and patient personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass background check, driving record check, and drug screening

Daytime Dietary Server-Dementia Unit-Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Tues (9am-2pm)
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Daytime Dietary Server to join our team on the Dementia Unit. This position is scheduled for Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Tuesday from 9am to 2pm. The ideal candidate will support meal service, food preparation, and sanitation efforts within a caring environment dedicated to residents with special needs. Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or food service is highly valued, along with strong customer service skills and a commitment to food safety standards.
Duties
- Serve nutritious meals to residents in accordance with dietary guidelines and individual preferences
- Assist with food preparation and plating, ensuring proper portioning and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including cleaning tables, bussing dishes, and sanitizing surfaces
- Support the dietary department by helping with meal setup and breakdown
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times
- Assist residents with eating as needed, providing courteous and respectful service
- Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and resident interaction
- Support in inventory management by assisting with stock rotation and storage of food items
Qualifications
- Experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospital settings, or the food industry preferred
- Knowledge of food production, preparation, serving, and sanitation standards
- Strong customer service skills with a caring attitude toward residents with dementia or other cognitive impairments
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently serve meals within scheduled hours
- Ability to handle food safely and follow health regulations diligently
- Prior dietary aide or food handling experience is advantageous but not required
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and assist with light lifting as needed
